Foundation University Partnerships embed industry education directly into academic curricula, connecting talented students with career pathways in the $1.3 trillion equipment finance sector. We're expanding — and we need people like you.
With existing partnership programs at the University of North Texas and Arizona State University, we're actively pursuing new institutional partnerships in regions with high concentrations of ELFA member companies.
Expanding our university partnerships takes more than institutional agreements — it takes industry professionals who are willing to show up, share their knowledge, and open doors for the next generation.
If you have a relationship with a university, live near a campus, or simply want to give back, there's a meaningful role for you. Contact Foundation@LeaseFoundation.org to learn how to get involved.

The Equipment Finance Curriculum at Arizona State University's W.P. Carey School of Business
This partnership between ASU and The Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation offers students comprehensive study of the equipment finance industry, beginning with a credit analysis course. ASU intends to expand relevant curriculum, offering elective courses covering industry-specific topics such as lease accounting and professional sales. The ultimate goal is to develop a certificate of study that complements a degree in finance or other business discipline.

Survey of Commercial Equipment Leasing & Finance at the G. Brint Ryan College of Business at the University of North Texas
This program is a collaboration with the Certified Lease & Finance Professional Foundation and the Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation and other industry partners to launch a course on commercial equipment finance. The course covers foundational concepts of equipment finance, origination, operations, and servicing areas. The Foundation provides financial support and resources for these programs and is a natural alignment with its mission of raising awareness for student talent development.
