As part of our international series, the Foundation is proud to debut its latest study on India. With the world's second-largest population and fifth-biggest economy, India represents one of the largest opportunities in the world for manufacturers, financial institutions and services companies. However, the study also points out that the challenges are immense for companies considering entering the Indian equipment finance market.
The new study, India: How to Navigate the Equipment Finance Marketplace, addresses some of the challenges to doing business in India including the strong propensity to purchase and a preponderance of banks competing for the financing business. U.S. financial service companies trying to enter the Indian equipment finance market must understand the many risks to entry before taking the leap, and the Foundation study provides readers with a comprehensive understanding of the risks and challenges of doing business in that country.
The India study is part of the five-part International Series, which includes reports on China, Brazil, Hispanic America, and Mexico, and was researched by The Alta Group.
The study, along with the other international studies, is available through the Foundation store. Donors may receive a copy of the report at no charge; donors may purchase a copy for $300.
