Donations to Foundation a Wise Investment

Donations to the Foundation come with a multitude of returns. Of course, most organization wish to be recognized and listed as a donor along with their competitors and partners in the Journal of Equipment Lease Financing, Equipment Leasing Today, ELT e-News and on the Foundation Web site, but did you know that donors receive other special considerations? For one, the Foundation hosts special events for donors at the ELA convention. The convention is traditionally a major gathering place of Foundation donors so the organization’s leadership hosts invitation-only Cigar and Cordial Night for all donors. Additionally, companies who donate $5,000 or more in a year and individuals who donate $1,500 or more annually are invited to be formally recognized on the convention stage during one of the convention luncheons. Donors also receive all Foundation projects in advance of public dissemination and at no charge. In other words, the Industry Future Council Report, State of the Industry report, special research papers, white papers and Journal articles are available to donors for free. The Foundation spends about $250,000 annually for the research it conducts, so donors’ return on investment clearly is high.
