IFC Meets in February to Discuss the Industry's Future

Posted 01/20/10

The Industry Future Council, now in its 29th year, meets annually to examine and deliberate the trends, challenges and opportunities impacting the equipment finance industry. On February 1 to 2, this year’s council of equipment finance leaders will be peering into the crystal ball to answer “What are the challenges and opportunities the future will bring our way?” The annual invitation-only meeting is hosted by the Equipment Leasing and Finance Foundation, and this year, has established lofty goals for the IFC participants and subsequent report.

Facilitator Joseph C. Lane, Vice Chairman, Sinter Capital and Past Chairman, Equipment Leasing and Finance Foundation, will challenge this high quality mix of "thought leaders" to think strategically, focus on “what could be” for the industry and develop a framework for readers of the Industry Future Council Report to apply the Council’s analysis to their own businesses.

Because the Industry Future Council Report is relied upon by so many different constituencies, it is critical that it reflect the input and analysis of a broad representation from the industry, so each market segment will be represented. Participants of past IFC meetings included industry leaders, ELFA Business Council Chairs and members of ELFA’s Executive Committee.

The Report will be available in March, online from the Foundation store, at no cost to Foundation contributors. Non-donors may download a copy for $95.
