Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation

Journal of Equipment Lease Financing

Authorship Honorariums

The Equipment Leasing and Finance Foundation announces a CALL FOR PAPERS on equipment leasing.

Call for papers--all topics in leasing are appropriate. The Foundation wishes to encourage academics in all fields of scholarship to submit a "practitioner version" of their work that relates to the leasing professional to the Journal of Equipment Lease Financing. Works considered of interest to the leasing profession will be published in this Journal. Honorariums of up to $5,000 per published article will be considered and awarded by the Journal's editorial review board for top articles.

A blind review process is available upon request for article submissions. All articles are reviewed by the Journal's Editorial Review Board, which consists of both academics and professionals.

Topics of interest to the leasing industry include, but are not limited to, strategic management/planning; accounting for leases; tax issues in leasing; contractual issues; issues in sales and marketing; electronic commerce; credit and collections issues; software issues; management issues; economics; portfolio management issues and best practices.

Academic authors should consider the audience when submitting papers for publication consideration. The primary target audience for the Journal is the working lease professional. (Articles should avoid excessive use of formulae, econometrics, and tables of data. Sophisticated modeling and methodological issues can be summarized in an appendix.) The value to the authors is reaching a new audience of professionals with your work and the potential for a honorarium.

Individuals interested in submitting papers for consideration should contact Katherine George, Editor at (540) 361-7778, or email her at catacomm@cox.net. You can also email Lisa Levine, Foundation Executive Director at llevine@elfaonline.org. See manuscript format, style, and other guidelines for more information.
