Industry Future Council Report
2007 | 2006 | 2005Industry Future Council Reports have been published annually since 1981. The Industry Future Council is comprised of a group of leading industry lessors, analysts, and service providers who deliberate the current issues trends and the outlook for the future. IFC Reports can be obtained through the Research Library.
State of the Industry Report
2006 | 2005The 2006 State of the Industry Report is the product of an exhaustive review and analysis of leasing industry information sources, including ELFA's 2006 Survey of Industry Activity, government data, independent research and interviews with key executives in all the major industry segments. It provides a comprehensive portrait of the leasing and finance industry in the near term. The Report paints a picture of a changing industry, with many strengths and weaknesses. Lessors have strengthened their risk management practices and credit is good, but profit margins are flat or eroding. The lease continues to be an excellent product, even as companies increasingly view themselves as "solution providers" offering a variety of financing alternatives.

State of the Industry Presentation
The Equipment Leasing and Finance Foundation recently conducted a presentation on the current state of the industry for attendees at the Lessor Networking Showcase in Atlanta, GA on August 22, 2007. Lisa A. Levine, Foundation Executive Director and Immediate Past Chairman, Joseph C. Lane provided an overview on the state of the equipment finance market, reviewed current trends, their significant to the current economic cycle and a look at the valuable resources available through the Equipment Leasing & Finance Foundation.
